My Gear - July 8, 2008

I love my gear....this pic shows the Twin Reverb amp I use for the rhodes. It was formerly owned by the late great Howie Wyeth. I am sprucing up his Stage 73 Rhodes to use instead of Pete's 54 which is in this pic. The Nord you see is powered by the Leslie 760 speaker in the back. I bought the Leslie from Mike "the Undertaker" Torsone. He is an Undertaker. For Real. No Shit. And of course lets not forget my oldest freind, my Mark VI. Horn geeks might want to know that it is a Dukoff D6 on that baby.
This pic was taken at The State Theatre in Falls Church VA. It was a great show!

Pete In Wisconsin - July 8, 2008

We played this cool gig in Wisconsin at their yearly music festival. We were having such a good time we went right until their curfew. The tech guys shut off the PA on orders from above, and told us we were finished. The crowd wasnt however, and whynot suggested Pete go out and and do a solo acoustic tune. He played an old fave from Dispatch called Bridges. It was a cool moment

Flyers In Asbury Park - July 8, 2008

I know these are getting old already but I wanted to post them just the same. These were from outside the Stone Pony in Asbury Park where the Flyers did a double bill with Braddigan. It was a great show where we made some new freinds and had a terrific time.

club hell - April 4, 2008

yes we played in hell tonight.
Satan posed the questions;how many bands can we fit into a three hour slot? and, why does the sax player need monitors? And, would it really suck if the bass players' wife broke down and had to wait at a mcdonalds on I95 while the rest of the band got pulled over for ,get this, driving under the speed limit?

Spring Touring - April 2, 2008

Been playing with Pete Francis all spring....come check out a show! It has been very exciting for me...it is my first gig playing Hammond organ.

We have had Boo Reiners on guitar, Jason Pharr on drums and Whynot on bass. It has been very fun on the road; sometimes duelling, sometimes playing, sometimes driving. Pistols at Dawn!!!!
